Preme pays his respects to Lil Wayne courtesy of "Hot Boy. " To take things a step further, Wayne himself lends his trademark wordplay to the record, making reference to the Hot Boy era, the days of humvees and solja rags.

The song doesn't have the Nolia bounce you'd come to expect of a song titled "Hot Boy." It is never the less a testament to Lil Wayne's progression and Preme's ability to channel different aspects of musical style and performance.
